Jyotsna Rewal Dua, Judge. Notice. Mr. L.N. Sharma, learned Additional Advocate General appears and waives service of notice on behalf of the respondents. 2. Petitioner seeks direction to the respondents to count and reckon the petitioner's continuous service with effect from 31.01.1997 instead of 04.01.2003 in view of office order dated 03.03.2017 (Annexure P-2). The petitioner also prays for grant of special increments with effect from 31.01.2017 i.e. on completion of 20 years of continuous service at par with other similarly situated incumbents to whom such benefit has been granted under office order dated 03.03.2017 and also consequential 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 benefits. He preferred a representation in this regard to the respondents on 04.08.2026 (Annexure P-4). Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner would be content in case the respondents/competent authority(s) are directed to consider and decide the aforesaid representation in accordance with law within a fixed-time schedule. Learned Assistant Advocate General is not averse to this prayer. 3. Having regard to the afore-submissions, but without examining the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents/competent authority to consider and decide the aforesaid representation of the petitioner in accordance with law as well as taking into consideration the above judgment within a period of six weeks from today. The decision so arrived at shall also be communicated to the petitioner. The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms, so also the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.
