GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents 2 to 4 in opening and maintaining Rowdy sheet No.751/2023 against the petitioner in Ponnuru Town Police Station, Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh, as illegal, arbitrary, against the principles of natural justice 2 and violative of Article 14, 19, and 21 of Constitution of India, and consequently to direct the respondents No. 2 to 4, to close the Rowdy sheet No.751/2023 which was opened and maintaining against the petitioner in Ponnuru Town Police Station, Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh.” 2. Sri P.Ajay Babu, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, by way of counter, would submit that, three cases are pending against the Petitioner. Unless and until, a close watch is being maintained against the unlawful activities of the Petitioner, there is every chance of repeating the offences. It is further submitted that, in view of the public interest and to safeguard the residents of the vicinity, rowdy sheet is opened against the Petitioner. 3. Dr.Challa Srinivasa Reddy, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit, recording the same, the petition may be disposed of. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
