Ms. Puja Goswami Ms. Shreya Mondal Ms. Manisha Ghosh Ms. T. Manna …for the petitioner. Mr. Sayan Mukherjee ….for the State. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. There is a delay of about three days in lodging the FIR. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State relies on the case diary and opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. He submits that the chopper with which the petitioner had allegedly assaulted the victim on the neck was recovered from his house. The delay was caused as the victim remained hospitalized for some time. He refers to the medical paper at page 11, which records the injury as grievous. Considering the above and the other incriminating materials available in the case diary, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail. The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. 2 Urgent photostat certified copies of this order may be delivered to the learned Advocates for the parties, if applied for, upon compliance of all formalities.
