The petitioner claims that he had applied for a water connection to his house at the address morefully described in the prayer to this Writ Petition. He has also given a representation on 07.09.2024, requesting the respondent to grant a water connection for the said house. Since the said representation has not been considered favourably, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition. 3. Mr. N. Umapathi, learned Standing Counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. 4. No prejudice will be caused to the respondent if the petitioner’s representation as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 5. Since the earlier representation, referred to supra, was given to the CM Cell, the petitioner will have to give a fresh representation. 6. For the foregoing reasons, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the petitioner to submit a fresh representation to the respondent, seeking for grant of water connection to his house for the property morefully described in the prayer to this Writ Petition, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
