The present writ petition has been filed impugning the
order dated 31.01.2026 passed by the Karnataka State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Bengaluru in E.A.No.SC/29/EA/71/2025.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was not issued proper notice by the State Commission in C.C.No.92/2023 and without satisfaction of service of notice, the State Commission had passed the order dated 12.08.2024 directing to refund a sum of Rs.60,00,000/- paid by the complainant with interest at the rate of 9% per

annum from the date of undertaking to refund the payment i.e., 18.02.2021, till the date of actual realization. Besides the compensation of Rs.5,00,000/- the cost of litigation of Rs.20,000/- was imposed.
3. The Consumer Protection Act, 2019 is a complete code. The competent forums and the statutory remedies are provided within the Act itself for filing the complaint/appeal/revision. Therefore, we are not inclined to entertain this writ petition. The writ petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to approach the competent forum against the order passed by the State Commission, if so advised. Sd/-
