Ranjan Sharma, Judge Petitioner-Vijay Kumar has come up before this Court, seeking the following reliefs:- “17 (a) That respondent may kindly be directed to include the name of petitioner in the seniority list of Lecturers School cadre at appropriate place with regularly appointed lectures. (b) That respondents may kindly further be directed to consider the case of petitioner for consequential benefits like promotion or inclusion the name of petitioner in panel prepared for promotion to the post of principles. (c) That respondent may kindly be directed to give fresh seniority number to petitioner with regular appointed lecturers and before lecturers appointed on tenure basis 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 2026:HHC:41381 and seniority given as per letter dated October, 2010 Annexure P-3) may kindly be quashed and set aside.” 2. Upon issuance of notice on 12.11.2014, pleadings were exchanged inter-se the parties to present lis. 3. At this stage, Learned Counsel for the petitioner, on Instructions, states that, due to subsequent events, petitioner does not intend to pursue with the present proceedings [Statement Taken on Record]. 4. The prayer, being innocuous, is not opposed by State Counsel also. 5. Based on the aforesaid statement, the instant proceedings are closed. 6.
