Tarunkumar, learned senior counsel assisted by Ms. Julekha Khan, learned counsel appearing for the applicant. [2] The applicant has filed a writ petition being WP(C) No. 280 of 2026 seeking reliefs, among others, for issuing a direction to the respondents to allow the applicant (writ petitioner) to contest the election of the post of President in the Trained Nurses’ Association of India (TNAI) Manipur State Branch Election 2026 scheduled to be held on 18-05-2026.
[3] It has been submitted by the learned senior counsel that in the said writ petition altogether 6(six) respondents were impleaded and after hearing the arguments on behalf of the petitioner, this Court issued notice upon the said respondents, returnable by 27-04-2026. MC(WP(C)) No. 316 of 2026 Page 3 Ref. WP(C) No. 280 of 2026 [4] The petitioner was allowed to take steps for service of notice upon the said respondents by way of dasti service. However, the petitioner subsequently come to learn that the National Vice President, Trained Nurses’ Association of India (TNAI), North East Region, L-17, Florence Nightingale Lane, Green Park Main, New Delhi- 110016 needs to be impleaded as one of the respondents in the said writ petition on the ground that the said officer is a necessary party in the said writ petition for deciding the issue raised therein. Hence, the present application has been filed for impleading the respondent No. 7 in the connected writ petition. [5] Mr. Kh. Tarunkumar, leaned senior counsel appearing for the applicant submitted that unless the said proposed respondent No. 7 is impleaded in the writ proceeding, the purpose of filing the writ petition will be defeated for want of impleading necessary parties and the petitioner will be greatly prejudice. [6] Accordingly, the learned senior counsel prays for allowing the impleadment application. [7] After hearing the submission advanced by the learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner and on perusal of the records, this Court is satisfied that impleadment of the aforesaid the National Vice

WP(C) No. 280 of 2026 President, Trained Nurses’ Association of India (TNAI), North East Region, L-17, Florence Nightingale Lane, Green Park Main, New Delhi- 110016 is necessary as the said official is a necessary party in the proceeding. [8] In view of the above, present application is allowed.
Registry is directed to incorporate the name of the said National Vice President, Trained Nurses’ Association of India (TNAI), North East Region, L-17, Florence Nightingale Lane, Green Park Main, New Delhi- 110016 as respondent No. 7 in the cause title of the said connected writ petition.
