Ahmed, learned counsel appearing for the accused petitioner as well as Mr. B. Sharma, learned Addl. P.P., Assam appearing for the State respondent. 2. This petition under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023 has been filed by the accused-petitioner, namely, Rashid Ahmed @ Roshid Ahmed, praying for grant of bail in connection with Ratabari P.S. Case No.15/2026 under Sections 126(2)/117(2)/140(2)/308(4)/3(5) of the BNS Act. The Page No.# 2/2 petitioner was arrested on 14.02.2026. 3. The allegation in the FIR dated 14/02/2026 is that on that day while coming in two vehicles and they were accosted on the way and attacked. Thereafter he was forced to part with some money through his brother. 4. Case diary was called for but learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that in the meantime, investigation completed resulting in a charge sheet No.25/26, dated 28/03/2026. 5. In view of the aforesaid development about completion of investigation, it is directed that the accused petitioner, named above shall be released on bail of Rs.40,000/- with one suitable surety of like amount to the satisfaction of learned concerned court subject to the following conditions that the petitioner: (a) shall co-operate with trial if one commences; (b) shall not hamper or tamper with the evidence; (c) shall not threaten the witnesses.
