1. The affidavit of service filed today is kept on record.
2. The petitioner, an Assistant Teacher in English, has made an application for transfer of her own seeking on the ground of distance. She resides almost 49 kilometers from her place of work. Hence, she has to travel about 100 kilometers to and fro from her place of residence to her place of work.
3. She made an application for transfer on February 18, 2026. The said application is still pending before the school authorities.
4. The respondent no. 7 is directed to consider the application and issue the requisite No Objection Certificate and forward the same to the respondent no. 6 within reasonable time preferably by April 30, 2026 in accordance with the provisions of law.
5. With these afore-stated directions, the writ petition

is disposed of.
6. There shall, however, be no order as to costs.
7. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on priority basis.
