JUSTICE R.K. PATTANAIK Order No. ORDER 06.07.2026 01. 1. Heard learned counsels for the respective parties. 2. Instant petition under Section 482 BNSS is filed by the petitioners seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with Kuakhia P.S. Case No.479 of 2024 corresponding to C.T. Case No.2993 of 2024 pending in the file of learned S.D.J.M, Jajpur on the grounds stated. 3. The petitioner is having number of antecedents. It is informed to the Court that nearly 28 cases have been registered against the petitioner. The reason behind the cases filed against the petitioner is narrated to the Court by learned counsel appearing for her. Recorded the objection of the State. It is claimed that the petitioner has constructed a house over a Government land which is opposed by the villagers, hence, number of cases have been filed against her. Considering the submission as above and objection of the State, noting down the criminal antecedent against her, this Court is inclined to direct the petitioner to surrender before the learned court below for being released with conditions even though the bail plea is not entertained. 4. Accordingly, it is ordered. 5. In the result, the ABLAPL is disposed of with the direction as aforesaid. In the event, the petitioner surrenders before the court of learned S.D.J.M, Jajpur within a fortnight from today, it is directed that she shall be released on bail in connection with Kuakhia P.S. Case No.479 of 2024 corresponding to C.T. Case No.2993 of 2024 on furnishing a bail bond of Rs.50,000/-(rupees fifty thousand) with one solvent surety for the like amount with such other conditions imposed as deemed just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case. It is further directed that the petitioner shall furnish an undertaking at the local PS not to commit any similar mischief while on bail. 6. Issue urgent certified copy of this order as per rules.
