The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the respondents 6 to 8 are hindering the petitioner and few of the family from participating in the temple festival by not receiving the Thalakattu Vari and sought indulgence of this Court. 3. The learned Government Advocate (Civil) categorically contended that the committee for the conduct of the temple festival itself has been formed only today and the temple festival is yet to commence and it is be seen that not even a single person is excommunicated and prevented from participating in the temple festival. 4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal) aligns with the 3rd respondent. 5. It is made clear that none of the persons, including the petitioner should be excommunicated in participating in the temple festival and the respondents 6 to 8 are directed to receive the Thalakattu Vari from the petitioner and other persons and ensure the participation of all the people of the village, including the petitioner, in participating the temple festival. The 4th respondent is directed to monitor and ensure that not even a single person is excommunicated and prevented from participating in the temple festival. 7. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
