JUSTICE LALITHA KANNEGANTI ORAL ORDER The present writ petition is filed questioning the order passed in LAQ/CR/25/2021-2022 dated 24.11.2023, by the 2nd respondent/Deputy Commissioner, Bengaluru Urban District, Bengaluru, whereby the 2nd respondent directed the petitioner not to create any obstruction. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:30818 WP No. 2397 of 2024 2. The parties are present before this Court. 3. A joint memo is filed before this Court, stating as follows: “The Petitioner and the 3rd Respondent above named state as follows: In the above Writ Petition, the Petitioner has no objections for construction of 220 KV Multi- circuit Line on the existing Corridor and thereby, the 3rd Respondent/KPTCL agreed to increase the height of the proposed Tower at Location No. 100, wherein the Ground clearance would be 15.85 Mtrs as against the existing Ground clearance of 7 to 8 Mtrs. The 3rd Respondent/KPTCL agreed to certify the execution of the said Line would not cause hazard to the Petitioner College and inturn the Petitioner agreed that, they will not put up any constructions activities within the Corridor Area of the said 220 KV MC Line. The KPTCL agreed to pay compensation to the Tower Area and Corridor Area in terms of the Order fixing the compensation by the District Magistrate/Deputy Commissioner vide Order, dated 24/06/2024 bearing LAQ/CR/23/2021- 22 subject to production of the required documents, further the respondent undertakes to adhere and carry out the project in accordance with plan/sketch of option 2 provided to the petitioner. Hence this Joint Memo. THEREFORE, the Petitioner and the 3rd Respondent/KPTCL pray that this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to record the above terms and to dispose the above Writ Petition, with a liberty to the KPTCL to execute the Work in terms of this Joint Memo, in the interest of justice.” - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:30818 WP No. 2397 of 2024 4.
