Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bangalore City of the respondent police i.e., Halasurugate police and further be pleased to pass any other order commensurating with the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity.” 2. Heard the learned counsel Sri. Udaya Kumar N. appearing for the petitioner, learned High Court Government Pleader Smt. Waheeda M.M., appearing for respondent No.1. 4. The crime is of the year 2011. The C.C.12594/2013 is registered in the year 2013. 13 years have passed by and the concerned Court has only adjourned the matter on plethora of occasions listed without any rhyme or reason. This is what is clogging the Courts on granting indiscriminate adjournments without any rhyme or reason. 5. In light of the proceedings being 15 years old today, I deem it appropriate to infuse finality into the proceedings. 6. Accordingly, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the concerned Court to conclude the - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:31240 CRL.P No. 6443 of 2026 proceedings in accordance with law within 3 months from the date of receipt of the copy of the order, if not earlier, 8. It is needless to observe that the parties to the lis shall co-operate for its disposal.
