(Oral) The present writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ in the nature of mandamus for directing the respondents to take immediate action for the demolition of illegal and unauthorized construction at 27-L, New Colony, Gurugram, Haryana, in terms of the demolition order dated 25.04.2024 (Annexure P-4). 2. Today, Mr. Sharad Aggarwal, Advocate has appeared through virtual mode on behalf of respondent No.2-M.C and his associate Ms. Archana Chauhan, Advocate, has handed over a copy of the order dated 17.04.2026 issued by the Ld. Deputy Commissioner, Gurugram, appointing Shri Hari Prakash, Assistant Engineer, Municipal Commissioner, Gurugram, ANJAL GUPTA 2026.04.24 11:14 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document CWP-7071-2026 (2) as a Duty Magistrate to oversee the demolition drives within the Area of Zone-II Municipal Corporation, Gurugram. Copy of aforesaid order is taken on record subject to all just exceptions.
