The present application has been filed for release of the awarded compensation amount in the case at hand. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the non-applicant/appellant/Insurance Company does not intend to file reply and has no objection and submits that the application be allowed and the amount lying deposited in the Registry of this Court be released in favour of the applicants/claimants. Vide order dated 24.03.2026, the appeal preferred by the non-applicant/appellant/Insurance Company stood withdrawn. In view of the aforesaid, the present application is allowed. The amount lying deposited in the Registry of this Court, deposited in pursuance to the award dated 27.11.2017 passed by the learned Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal-IV, Shimla, is ordered to be released and remitted to the bank account of the applicants/claimants, details whereof are set out in paragraph 5 of the application, along with proportionate interest accrued thereupon, subject to proper verification of the identity.
