(ORAL) Against the order dated 03.03.2025 (Annexure P-4) passed by the Divisional Canal Officer, Abohar Canal Division, Abohar under Sec on 30B of the Northern India Canal and Drainage Act, 1873, the pe oner filed an appeal before Superintendent Canal Officer, Ferozepur Canal Circle, Ferozepur i.e. respondent No.1. Along with the said appeal, an applica on (Annexure P-9) was moved for staying the opera on of the order dated 03.03.2025. 2. By way of the present pe on, it is prayed by the pe oners to issue the necessary direc ons to respondent No.1 (wrongly men oned as respondent No.2) to dispose of the said appeal (Annexure P-9) expedi ously and in a me-bound manner and also issue a writ to direct the said respondents to dispose of the appeal in accordance with law. 3. Today, power of aAorney has been filed on behalf of respondents No.3 to 10 in pursuant to the order dated 08.06.2026. Learned State counsel appears on behalf of respondents No.1 and 2. As it is informed by learned counsel for respondents No.3 to 10 that they are the affected persons and have not been specifically arrayed as the respondents in the appeal, therefore, it is directed that respondent No.1 shall issue no ce to them before hearing the appeal and the applica on and shall provide necessary opportuni es of hearing. Respondent No.1 shall also make every possible aAempt to dispose of the main appeal itself within six months. 6.
