Case No. 11 of 2025 corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No. 12 of 2025 for the offences registered under Sections 17, 18, 20 and 22 of the N.D.P.S. Act pending in the Court of learned Principal District & Sessions Judge, Seraikella, is pressed into motion. Allegation against this petitioner is that he was involved in cultivating opium. It is submitted by the learned counsel on behalf of petitioner that save and except confessional statement of the co-accused, there is no other material to connect this petitioner to the offence as nothing has been seized from his physical possession. Petitioner is farmer and has no criminal antecedent. Learned A.P.P. opposed the bail petition. Under the circumstances, the above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/-(Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court below.
