By way of instant petition, petitioner has prayed for following main reliefs:-
“i) Writ of mandamus may kindly be issued directing the respondent No.2(Superintendent of Police, Una and respondent No.3(SHO, Una) to conduct a fair objective and time bound investigation into the FIR No.0130/2025, dated 17.10.2025(Annexure P-1) and file periodic status reports before this Hon’ble Court and in the alternative, this Hon’ble Court be pleased to transfer the investigation of the case to Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI) or a Specialized Investigating Team(SIT) to be constituted to ensure an uninfluenced rigorous probe into the deep rooted financial scam’

2 2026:HHC:40574 ii) Direct the Investigating Agency to take immediate and stringent step to apprehend absconding accused persons.”

Pursuant to the notices issued in the instant proceedings, Superintendent of Police, Una, District Una, H.P., has filed reply, perusal whereof reveals that pursuant to the complaint made by the petitioner, FIR No. 130 of 2025, dated 17.10.2025 was registered at Police Station, Amb, District Una under Sections 318(4) and 3(5) of Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita and investigation is being conducted in the aforesaid FIR. Learned Additional Advocate General states that shortly challan shall be filed in the competent Court of law.

Since adequate steps have already been taken upon the complaint of the petitioner, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the present petition and accordingly, same is disposed of with a direction to the Investigating Officer to conclude the investigation in the FIR expeditiously, preferably within a period of two months and thereafter consequential action be also taken promptly in accordance with law. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
