Mr. Mohit Thakur, learned counsel appears and waives service of notice on behalf of the respondents. 2. The case set up by the petitioner is that his services were regularized as sweeper in the respondent-Tourism Development Corporation on 02.05.1997. Even after rendering more than 28 years of service, he has neither been promoted nor granted any benefit under Assured Career Progression scheme. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that representation preferred by the petitioner in this regard on 03.05.2026 (Annexure P-5) is still pending consideration before the 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 competent authority and the same has not been decided till date by the respondents/competent authority. 3.. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner would be content, in case, respondents/competent authority are directed to consider and decide the aforesaid representation of the petitioner, in accordance with law, within a time bound manner. Learned counsel for the respondents have no objection to this prayer. Without adverting to the merits of the matter and without examining the issue of delay, laches & acquiescence, if any, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents/competent authority to consider and decide the aforesaid representation of the petitioner, in accordance with law as well as taking into consideration Assured Career Progression Schemes, within a period of six weeks from today.
