In this writ petition, the petitioner is assailing the order dated 08.09.2025 passed by the Karnataka Appellate Tribunal in Appeal No.343 of 2024 (Annexure-H), as well as the order dated 29.08.2024 passed by Respondent No.2 in Case No.45/2021-22 (Annexure-G). 4. Having heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties and upon perusal of the material on record, this Court has considered the reasons assigned by the respondent-authorities, wherein the Bye-laws of the Society providing for adjustment of arrears of dues from the retiral benefits to the extent of 50% has not been accepted. 5. In that view of the matter, the Karnataka Appellate Tribunal, after appreciating the material on - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:17894 WP No. 7385 of 2026 record, has rightly dismissed the appeal preferred by the petitioner. The findings recorded by the Tribunal in paragraphs 14 to 16 are self-explanatory. Therefore, this Court is of the view that the petitioner herein is not empowered to withhold the salary of Respondent No.1, as awarded by the respondent-authority in the dispute referred to above.
