(ORAL) The two pe oners namely Mayank Sehrawat and Sarthak, by way of these two pe ons have sought regular bail in case FIR No.33 dated 05.02.2026, under Sec ons 115(2), 117(2), 126(2), 351(2), 192(2) and 190 of BNS and Sec on 109 of BNS (added lateron), registered at Police Sta on Manesar, District Gurugram. 2. Pe oner Sarthak is stated to be in custody since 23.04.2026 whereas pe oner- Mayank Sehrawat is stated to be in custody since
22.04.2026. The FIR was lodged on the complaint of Brijesh, who as well as the pe oners are students. As per the allega ons, on 03.02.2026, 5-6 boys blocked the way of the complainant and assaulted him badly. One of the assailants was even having a sharp-edged weapon. 3. Status report in the form of an affidavit of Sh. Virender Singh, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Manesar, Gurugram has been filed, and the same is taken on record. 4. The status report filed today would reveal that it is the security in-charge, who iden fied the assailants based upon CCTV footage. The copy of the statement of Commander, N.K. Dahiya, Director Security of Amity University, Haryana has been placed on record by learned State counsel in which the name of pe oner Sarthak is disclosed, though the name of Mayank does not find men on. This statement would also reveal that one of the co-accused Deepender Khatana is aCributed to have punched Preet Kamboj who had ini ally created trouble and then Brijesh, Preet’s friend, was also injured. 5. There is no specific aCribu on to either of the pe oners.
It is further informed by learned State counsel that name of pe oner Tushar has emerged during the disclosure statement of another co-accused. 6. It is also stated by counsel for both the pe oners that three of the co-accused namely Tushar, Mukul and Kar k have already been allowed the benefit of interim an cipatory bail. The case of both the pe oners is on the similar foo ng, as is conceded by learned State counsel. 7. Having regard to all the aforesaid facts and circumstances, but without commen ng anything upon the merits of the case, the pe oners are admiCed to regular bail and both of them are ordered to be released on bail on their furnishing bail bonds and surety bonds to the sa sfac on of learned Trial Court/Duty Magistrate concerned, on usual terms and condi ons. 8.
