Hareesh Bhandary T., learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Smt. Waheeda M., learned HCGP appearing for respondent No.1 and have perused the material on record. 2. The petitioner is before this Court, seeking the following prayer: "WHEREFORE, it is respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court be pleased to quash the entire proceedings initiated - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:30513 CRL.P No. 102 of 2026 against the petitioner in S.C.No.1366/2025 on the file of LXVII Additional City Civil and Sessions Judge, Bengaluru (CCH 68) (Crime No.277/2024) registered by the Jnanabharathi police station Bengaluru for the offence punishable under section 306 of IPC, in the interest of justice." 3. It is an admitted fact that the charges are framed and the matter is set at trial. At this stage, this Court is of the considered opinion that there would be no interference to exercise its jurisdiction under Section 528 of the BNSS, 2023 4. In the light of the issue involving 19 witnesses to be examined, the concerned Court shall endeavour to conclude the proceedings within an outer limit of six (6) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the aforesaid observations, the petition stands disposed. All contentions remain open to be urged before the concerned Court and concerned Court considering the same.
