This Court, vide order dated 25.01.2024 passed in MCRC No. 8697 of 2023, while allowing the bail of the applicant, namely, Krishna Kumar Yadav had expressed its trust that the trial Court would make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a cer<ed copy of that order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. Earlier on two occasions also this Court had granted extension of KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 time for compliance of the order dated 25.01.2024. 4. The learned Special Judge (NDPS Act), Bilaspur District-Bilaspur (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 02.03.2026 has requested for grant of four months time for concluding the trial. 5. It transpires from perusal of the PUD that the statements of 09 prosecution witnesses have already been recorded, however, the cross- examination of the Investigating O8cer, who is prosecution witness No. 10, is still pending. As per the trial programme, the evidence of the Investigating O8cer and one other prosecution witness remains to be recorded. Thereafter, the statement of the accused, defence evidence and <nal arguments are yet to be conducted. Therefore, it appears that additional time of about four months would be required for <nal disposal of the case. 6. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of four months from today. 7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed o7 with the aforesaid direction. 8.
