JUSTICE M.NAGAPRASANNA) Petitioner is before this Court seeking the following prayer: “(i) Issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the application form / application Id No.DSKL-R-15-02877/Registration No. & Application No. 4015 and allot alternative sites or regularize the petitioner site property, vide Annexure ‘C’ in the interest of justice. (ii) Issue such other order writ or direction as deemed fit and proper under the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of equity and justice.” 2. Heard Sri Srinivasa C., learned counsel for petitioner, Smt. Hemalatha V., learned Additional Government Advocate for respondent No.1 and Sri Shivaprasad M. Shantanagoudar, learned standing counsel for respondent Nos.2 and 3. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioner’s property is being acquired for the formation of Dr.Shivaram Karanth Layout and has submitted a representation for grant of an alternate site or regularisat6ion of the site, as the case would be. Shantanagoudar, learned counsel for respondent Nos.2 and 3 – Bengaluru Development Authority submits that if reasonable time is granted, the representation of the petitioner would be considered and necessary orders would be passed in accordance with law. 5. In the light of the aforesaid submissions, we deem it appropriate to pass the following: ORDER a. The writ petition stands disposed. b. Respondent Nos.2 and 3 – Bangalore Development Authority to consider the application ID No.DSKL-R- 15-02877 / Registration & Application No.4015 submitted by the petitioner, within a period of twelve weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. c. Respondent Nos.2 and 3 – Bangalore Development Authority shall also communicate the order that would be passed on the application, to the petitioner. - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:30198-DB WP No. 9749 of 2026 d.
