1. Accused in SC No. 5019/2026 pending before the Court of III Additional District and Session Judge, Bangalore Rural District sitting at Anekal, arising out of Crime No. 468/2025 registered by Suryanagar Police Station, Bangalore. For offences punishable under Sections 329,(4), 62, 74, 75 and 76 of BNS 2023 is before this Court, in this petition filed under Section 483 of BNS is 2023 seeking regular bail.
2. Heard the learned counsel per the petitioner and learned HCGP for the respondent.
3. FIR in Crime No. 468 of 25 was registered by Suryanagar Police Station, Bangalore for the aforesaid offences against the petitioner herein based on the first

HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:31906 CRL.P No. 7179 of 2026 information dated 24.11.2025. In the said case petitioner herein was arrested on 26.11.2025 and remanded for judicial custody. After completing investigation, charge sheet has been filed against him. His bail application filed before the trial Court in SC No. 5019 of 26 was rejected on
27.03.2026. Therefore, is before this Court.

A reading of the first information as well as the charge sheet in the present case would reveal that allegation against the petitioner is that on the night of 23.11.2025, he had gained entry into a labour shed in property bearing Sy. No. 47 of Iggaluru Village, Anekal Taluk caught hold of CW-1, who is one of the alleged victim in the present case and tried to rape her. It is further alleged that about 2 months prior to the said date, petitioner also had made a similar attempt in which CW-2 was the victim. Investigation of the case is completed and charge sheet has been filed.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the maximum punishment for the alleged offences is imprisonment for a period of 3 years and the petitioner has no other criminal antecedents. The same is not seriously disputed by Learned HCGP. Under the circumstances, I am of the opinion that the prayer made by the petitioner for grant of regular bail needs to be answered affirmatively subject to appropriate conditions. Accordingly, the following:
ORDER The Criminal Petition is allowed. The petitioner is
directed to be enlarged on bail in Crime No.468/2025 of Suryanagar Police Station, Bengaluru registered for the offences punishable under Sections 329,(4), 62, 74, 75 and 76 of BNS 2023, subject to the following conditions: a) Petitioner shall execute personal bond for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- with two sureties for the likesum, to the satisfaction of the jurisdictional Court;

HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:31906 CRL.P No. 7179 of 2026 b) The petitioner shall appear regularly on all the dates of hearing before the Trial Court unless the Trial Court exempts his appearance for valid reasons; c) The petitioner shall not directly or indirectly threaten or tamper with the prosecution witnesses; d) The petitioner shall not involve in similar offences in future; e) The petitioner shall not leave the jurisdiction of the Trial Court without permission of the said Court until the case registered against him is disposed off.
