The petitioners have filed this petition for commanding the respondents to confer ownership rights in their favour regarding land measuring 17 Kanals comprising Survey No. 191 situated at Village Chack Ram Chand, Tehsil and District Kathua in terms of Section 3(n) read with Sections 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 15 and 16 of Jammu and Kashmir Agrarian Reforms Act or Government Order No. LB-6/C of 1958 dated 05.06.1958 read with Government Order No. S. 432 of 66 dated 03.06.1966 or Government Order No. Reh-371 of 1971 dated 09.09.1971. 2. Notice to the respondents. 3. Ms. Sagira Jaffer, Advocate waives notice. 4. Pursuant to specific query made by this Court, as to whether the petitioners have approached the respondents through the medium of any representation, it was submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that no documentary evidence has been placed on record with regard to any such representation. In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to treat the present petition as representation and decide the same in accordance with law within a period of 03 months from the date of receipt of this order.
