Heard the parties. The petitioners have been made accused in connection with Meharma P.S Case No. 62/2026 instituted under Section 118(2), 109, 308(4)/3(5) of BNS, 2023 and Section 27(2) of the Arms Act. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the allegation against the petitioners is that the petitioners in furtherance of common intention with the co-accused persons attempted to murder Jairam Mandal for non-fulfilment of demand of ransom of Rs.10,00,000/-. It is further submitted that the allegations against the petitioners are all false. It is then submitted that though the petitioners are not named in the F.I.R., yet without putting him on Test Identification Parade, as mentioned in para-11 of the bail application, charge sheet has been submitted against him. It is next submitted that the petitioners have been in custody since 22.05.2026, as has been mentioned in paragraph no. 01 of the bail application. It is next submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that the petitioners are ready and willing to co-
operate with the trial of the case and undertakes not to annoy or disturb the informant or the other witness of the case in any manner during trial of the case. It is next submitted that the co-accused with similar allegations has already been admitted on bail by this court vide order dated 18.08.2026 passed in B.A. No. 7748 of 2026 hence, the petitioners may be admitted to bail. Learned Addl. P.P. opposed the prayer for bail. Considering submissions of learned counsels and the facts as stated above, I am inclined to release the petitioners on bail. Hence, the court below is directed to release the petitioners on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.
25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Godda in connection with Meharma P.S Case No. 62/2026 with the condition that the petitioners will not annoy or disturb the informant or the other witness of the case in any manner during trial of the case and will co-operate with the trial of the case and will furnish mobile phone number and photocopy of the Aadhar Card in the court below with an undertaking that they will not change the mobile phone number during the trial of the case.
