VIBHU BAKHRU, CHIEF JUSTICE) 1. The complainant has filed the present complaint alleging willful disobedience of the order dated 08.12.2025 passed by the learned Single Judge in WP.No.32302/2025 (KLR-RES). 2. The complainant had filed the said petition, inter alia, impugning an endorsement dated 08.10.2025 issued by the Thasildar. The learned Single Judge had quashed the said endorsement and found that the decision in question was taken by the Deputy Commissioner in terms of Rule 108CCC(3) of the Karnataka Land Revenue Rules, 1966. In terms of the said Rule, - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:31538-DB CCC No. 381 of 2026 the Deputy Commissioner was required to reject the application if it was ineligible and if it was found eligible, to place the same before the concerned committee. The accused has filed a compliance affidavit enclosing therewith an endorsement, which indicates that a decision is being taken. However, there is no committee constituted before which the application could be placed. 3. In view of the endorsement, it is apparent that the accused, the Deputy Commissioner has complied with the order and no proceedings under the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 can be initiated against said accused. The complaint is accordingly closed. 4. We clarify that this would not preclude the complainant from availing substantive remedies in respect of his grievance.
