2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Nagri P.S. Case No.132 of 2025, for the alleged offences registered under Sections 317(5) and 3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, Section 12(1) of Jharkhand Bovine Animal (Prohibition of Slaughter) Act, 2005 and Sections 11(1)(D) and 11(1)(E) of Prevention of Cruelty to Animal Act pending in the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Ranchi.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the name of the petitioner has been implicated only on suspicion and the allegations are made of carrying bovine animals in three vehicles. He further submits that the petitioner has nothing to do with the said bovine animals which were being carried in the pickup vans. He then submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as disclosed in paragraph No.15 of the petition. He next submits that in identical situation co-accused persons have already been granted anticipatory bail

in ABA No.653 of 2026. On these grounds, he submits that anticipatory bail may kindly be granted.

Learned counsel appearing for the State opposed the prayer and submits that allegations are there of illegally carrying bovine animals.

Considering that only on suspicion the name of the petitioner has come and in identical situation co-accused persons have already been granted anticipatory bail in the aforesaid ABA and the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as disclosed in paragraph No.15 of the petition, I am inclined to provide anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is hereby directed to surrender before the learned Court within three weeks from today, and in the event of his surrender/arrest, the petitioner, above named, shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand), with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Ranchi in connection with Nagri P.S. Case No.132 of 2025, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
