The applicant, who is in custody since 30.08.2024 has approached this Court for grant of regular bail in connection with S.T. Case No. 223 of 2024 arising out of Rajnagar P.S. Case No. 63 of 2024, registered under Sections 140(2)/103(1)/238/3(5) of the B.N.S. and Section 25(1-B) (a)/ 26/35 of the Arms Act , pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Seraikella. 3. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the applicant(s) that complete set of F.I.R. along with its enclosures have been annexed with this bail application and there is no suppression on his/her part. 4. It has been further submitted by the learned counsel for the applicant that this is the second round of litigation as bail application of the petitioner being B.A. No. 6725 of 2025 has earlier been rejected vide order dated 09.10.2025 by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court. 5. Learned A.P.P. and learned counsel for the informant have opposed the prayer for bail of the applicant. 6. It appears that it is crime of kidnapping with murder committed by a group. There is sufficient material against the applicant. The prayer for bail of the other co-accused persons has also been rejected by co-ordinate Bench of this Court. It further appears that out of 10 charge-sheeted witness, 7 witnesses have already been examined. 2026:JHHC:6398 2 B.A. No . 144 of 2026 7. Considering the material available on record and the stage of the trial, I am not inclined to enlarged the applicant on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected.
