Pleader Mr. Biplab Guha … … for the State 1. Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today is taken on record. 2. The petitioners have been working as Sahayikas in their respective Sishu Siksha Kendras. The petitioners have not yet attained the age of super-annuation but are perilously close to attaining the age of 60 years, which was the earlier age of super- annuation. Admittedly such age has now been enhanced upto 65 years, pursuant to the Memo No. 708/MA/C-10/3S- 35/2007(Pt.-III) dated December 22, 2016. The petitioners had duly made representations in respect of such enhancement of age and to permit them to continue till the age of 65 years with the respondent no.2 some time on January 6, 2026. Such representations have not yet been considered. 3. I direct the respondent no.2 to consider and dispose of such representations of the petitioners by March 20, 2026, upon giving a hearing to the petitioners, thereby renewing their service till the age of 65 years, which has already been permitted on September 20, 2016. 4. With the afore-stated directions, the writ petition is disposed of. 2 5. There shall be no order as to costs. 6.
