M/S.ASTONISH LAWS Counsel for the Respondent(S): 1. GP FOR REVENUE The Court made the following: 3 ORDER: The present Writ Petition is filed, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following relief: “to issue any writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus or an appropriate writ or order declaring the action of the Respondents in particular, Respondent No.3 in not disposing of the appeal filed by the Petitioner on 15-9-2025, assailing the mutation of the names of the Respondents 5 to 7 in the Revenue Records, without issuing any notice and without following any procedure as contemplated under the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, and the Rules made there under, as arbitrary, illegal, in violation of Section 5(4) of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, and consequently direct the 3rd Respondent to consider and dispose of the appeal filed by the Petitioner on 15.9.2025 in accordance with law and to pass….” 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for respondents. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that despite receipt of the representation, the respondent authorities have not considered the representation and deleted the subject properties from the disputed list under Section 22-A of the Registration Act. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the properties are Bhoodan Yagna Board lands, hence the respondents have included the said properties under Section 22-A of the Registration Act. 5. It is surprising to hear such a statement as the Bhoodan Yagna Board lands are not the lands of Government. Bhoodan Yagna Board is 4 a Board constituted to regulate the land from private persons and giving grants to the beneficiaries. 6. Hence the respondents, more particularly respondent no.2 is directed to consider the representation made by the petitioners and pass appropriate orders within a period of three (03) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7. With the above observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. As a sequel thereto, interlocutory applications pending, if any, in the writ petition, shall also stand closed. __________________ JUSTICE D.RAMESH 05.01.2026 RD 5 THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE D.RAMESH WRIT PETITION No.24461 OF 2025 05.01.2026 RD
