Versus 1.The State of Jharkhand through the Secretary, Revenue, Registration and Land Reforms Department, Government of Jharkhand 2. Deputy Commissioner, Gumla 3. Land Reforms Dy. Collector, Basiya, Gumla 4.The Circle Officer, Palkot, Gumla 5.Anil Bhagat, S/o Jagdeo Bhagat, R/o Village Palkot Checknaka, PO and PS Palkot, District Gumla … Respondent(s). …… CORAM : SRI ANANDA SEN, J. ------ For the Petitioner(s) : Mr. Yogendra Prasad, Advocate For the State : Mr. Mithilesh Singh, GA-IV Mr. Bhanu Pratap, AC to GA-IV …...... 02/ 24.08.2026: Heard, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State. 2. Petitioner is praying to execute the order of the Land Reforms Dy. Collector which is in favour of the petitioner. 3. It is grievance of the petitioner that inspite of the order in favour of the petitioner passed under Section 71(A) of the Chotanagpur Tenancy Act, the order is yet to be executed, thus the petitioner has approached this Court by filing an application under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. 4. This Court exercising jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution is not an executing Court of an order passed by Revenue Officer. Thus, I am not inclined to entertain this writ petition. 5. Accordingly, the instant writ petition is dismissed. 6. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the Deputy Collector, Land Reforms, if he has any grievance.
