The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Tatilsilwai P.S. Case No.18/2025(N), registered for the offences under Sections 21(C), 22(b) of NDPS, pending in the Court of learned Judicial Commissioner, cum Spl. Judge, Ranchi. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the name of the petitioner surfaced only on the registered mobile named in Sriram Bedia, who has stated that the said mobile is being used since 2017 by the petitioner and it has been used to contact the co- accused persons. He also submits that apart from that, there is no allegation against the petitioner. In view of that, the anticipatory bail may kindly be granted. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the State vehemently opposed the prayer and submits that 75 bottles of 100 ml Onerex Cough Syrup and 144 Winspasmo Forte Capsules were recovered from the possession of Shahbaz Khan, who has taken the name of one Guddu Khan as associate. He also submits that in para 66 of the case diary 2026:JHHC:1434 2 and 11 of the supplementary case diary, it is revealed that the said phone number being 7282911640 was being used by the petitioner and the quantity of the cough syrup are commercial in quantity. 5. In view of the above and considering that the said cough syrup are said to be commercial in quantity, the petitioner was using the said mobile number, which was in the name of Sriram Bediya and this has come in the paragraph 66 of case diary and 11 of the supplementary case diary. In that view of the matter, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail petition is hereby rejected and this petition is disposed of.
