Petitioner has filed this writ petition, seeking following reliefs:- “10.1 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to forthwith correct/update the gradation/seniority lists as on 01.04.2023/2024 and subsequent by recording the petitioner’s full academic qualifications (M.A. in Hindi, History & Political Science) and professional qualifications (D.Ed + B.Ed) and include ALFIZA BAIG Digitally signed by ALFIZA BAIG Date: 2026.02.18 11:30:53 +0530 2 / the petitioner’s name in the promotion list to Lecturer (E) cadre in the subjects Hindi/History/Political Science, with notional promotion, seniority, arrears of pay/fixation, and all consequential benefits w.e.f. the date her immediate juniors were promoted. 10.2 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondents to decide the petitioner’s pending representation dated 12.01.2026 within a time-bound period and communicate the decision. 10.3 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to grant any other relief, as it may deems fit and appropriate.” 2. After arguing for sometime, counsel for petitioner submits that as petitioner has already submitted representation before respondent no. 05 on 12.01.2026 which is pending consideration, therefore, direction be issued to respondent no. 4 to take decision on pending representation at the earliest within specified time frame. 3. Learned counsel for State submits that in view of limited prayer made by learned counsel for petitioner, he is having no objection. 4. On due consideration of submission made by learned counsel for respective parties, without commenting any thing on the merits of the case, I find it appropriate to dispose of this writ petition at this stage directing respondent no. 04 to consider and take decision on pending representation Annexure P-9 dated 12.01.2026 accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a further period of 04 months from the date of receipt of the order passed by this Court. 5.
