The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking following reliefs :- “i) That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to produce all the JYOTI SHARMA Digitally signed by JYOTI SHARMA Date: 2026.07.01 17:42:19 +0530 2 relevant records relating to case of the petitioner before this Hon'ble Court for its kind perusal. (ii) That this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct respondent No.3/Managing Director, Khadi to decide and Gramodhyog Board, Raipur representation of the petitioner dated 19.1.2026 (Annexure P/4) for revocation of his suspension according to Rule 9(1) of CCA Rules, 1966 and the order dated 17.6.2026 passed by this Hon'ble Court in WPS No.4407/2026, expeditiously. (iii) That this Hon'ble Court may further be pleased to direct respondents to give suitable compensation to the petitioner for the mental trauma and agony, harassment and hardships suffered by him as also cost of the litigation.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner, while serving as Assistant Director was placed under suspension vide order dated 14.01.2026. He further submits that the petitioner has already submitted a representation for redressal of his grievances, but the same is still pending consideration before the competent authority. He, therefore, prays that a direction be issued to the concerned authority to consider and decide the said representation within a stipulated period. 3 3. Learned State counsel submits that if the representation submitted by the petitioner is pending consideration, the same shall be examined and decided by the competent authority in accordance with law, keeping in view the applicable circulars/ instructions of the State Government as well as the law laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court, within a reasonable period. 4. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record. 5. Considering the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 2 to consider and decide the petitioner's representation in accordance with law, on its own merits, expeditiously, preferably within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the claim of the petitioner and the competent authority shall take an independent decision strictly in accordance with law. 7.
