This writ petition has been preferred by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking following reliefs:- “10.1 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to set aside the impugned order dated 25.01.2023 (Annexure-P/1) passed by the respondent No.2. 10.2 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent state authority not to disturb the petitioner on the post, where he was elected. 10.3 Any appropriate writ, direction or order may also kindly be passed in favour of the petitioners, which this Hon’ble Court deems fit in the circumstances of the case.” 3. Learned counsel for the State submits that this matter relates to Section 122 of the Chhattisgarh Panchayat Raj Adhiniyam, 1993. From perusal of the petition, it appears that tenure of the petitioner has already been expired, therefore, this petition has become infructuous. 4. In view of submission made by the counsel for the State, counsel for the petitioner submits that he has no instructions in this regard. 3 5. Considering the fact that the tenure of the petitioner has already been expired and petitioner has continued on the said post due to interim relief granted by this Court.
