Heard learned counsel for the parties. 2. The instant writ application has been preferred by the petitioners praying therein for quashing the letter dated 06.12.2022 issued by the 3rd respondent (Annexure-7), whereby the 3rd respondent refused to give time bound promotion to the petitioners in the post of State Tax Assistant Commissioner. It has been informed that both the petitioners have been granted promotion during pendency of this writ application from 2025. 3. In view of the development taken place during pendency of this application, now learned counsel submits that the instant application may be disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioner to approach respondent no. 2 for correcting the date of promotion. 4. There is no serious objection on behalf of the respondents. ( 2026:JHHC:24858 ) 5. In view of the submissions that though both the petitioners were entitled for promotion since 2019, but they have been given promotion from 2025; accordingly, the instant application stands disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioner to approach the 2nd Respondent who shall look into the matter and pass an appropriate order as per applicable rules and regulations. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 6. Accordingly, the instant writ application stands disposed of.
