Learned counsel for the petitioner/applicant submits that an application filed by the wife/respondent under Section 125 of the Code of Criminal Procedure is pending before the Court of the 3rd Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Durg (C.G.), in Criminal M.J.C. Case No. 547/2024. It is submitted that an order granting interim maintenance in PRAKASH KUMAR Digitally signed by PRAKASH KUMAR Date: 2026.07.01 15:53:23 +0530 2 favour of Applicant Nos. 2 and 3 (Respondent Nos. 2 and 3 herein), who are the children born out of the wedlock of the petitioner and Respondent No. 1, was passed on 28.01.2025. Thereafter, the case was fixed for recording the evidence of the wife/Respondent No. 1 on 20.02.2025; however, despite several dates having been fixed, the evidence has not yet been concluded. Therefore, it is prayed that appropriate directions be issued for expeditious disposal of the pending proceedings. 2. Upon perusal of the material available on record, this Court is of the opinion that the ends of justice would be served by directing the concerned Family Court to dispose of the pending proceedings expeditiously. Accordingly, the concerned Principal Judge, Family Court, District Durg (C.G.), is directed to make all endeavours to hear and finally decide Criminal M.J.C. No. 547/2024 pending between the parties as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order, strictly in accordance with law. 3.
