Jyotsna Rewal Dua, Judge. Notice. Mr. Rajat Chaudhary, learned Assistant Advocate General appears and waives service of notice on behalf of the respondents. 2. Petitioner’s grievance is that on account of non-regularisation of his absence for 39 days, the respondents have withheld his salary for the aforesaid period, i.e. with effect from 8.8.2024 to 15.9.2024. Petitioner’s case is that he had preferred a representation in that regard to respondent No.2 on 3.5.2026 (Annexure P-6) with the request that the period of absence for 39 days be deducted and adjusted from his admissible earned leave etc. and thereafter salary for the period in question be released to him, but no decision has been taken. 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner would be content in case the respondents/competent authority(s) are directed to consider and decide the aforesaid representation in accordance with law within a fixed-time schedule. Learned Assistant Advocate General is not averse to this prayer. 4. Having regard to the afore-submissions, but without examining the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents/competent authority to consider and decide the aforesaid representation of the petitioner in accordance with law with a period of four weeks. The decision so arrived at shall also be communicated to the petitioner. The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms, so also the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.
