Petitioners, contending that he had been allotted 15 Kanals of land each in Industrial Estate Meen Charakran, Samailpur, Bari Brahmana, Samba for establishment of a manufacturing unit, vide Allotment Order dated 08.02.2022 and the petitioners have deposited an amount of Rs. 1,07,74,580/- and Rs. 1,07,74,344/- respectively towards land premium and advance rent as demanded by the respondents, alleged that despite deposit of the entire premium amount, respondents failed to develop industrial estate and did not hand over the possession of the allotted land to the petitioners on the plea that the indentified land was being developed for specific Centres as such, the petitioners were not allotted the land in that area. 2. Learned senior counsel for the petitioners submits that a meeting has been proposed by the Director, Industries & Commerce Jammu, of the High Level Land Allotment Committee on 14.08.2026 at 2:30 pm under the Chairmanship of Commissioner/Secretary to Government, Industries & Commerce Department, Jammu. Serial No. 101 2 WP(C) No. 2520/2020 3. Learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the instant petition be disposed of at this stage with direction to respondent No. 2 to consider the allotment of land in favour of the petitioners from land bank available for the development of industrial areas in Zone-A of Jammu or Samba Districts against the premium that they had already deposited. 4. Heard. 5. Notice. 6. Mr. Dewakar Sharma, learned Dy. AG waives notice on behalf of the respondents. He submits that respondents are not averse to the plea for re- allotment of land raised by learned counsel for the petitioners, is considered in the next meeting if the agenda of meeting is with regard to allotment of land for industrial Centres. 7. In view of the submissions made by learned senior counsel for the petitioners, the instant petition is disposed of at this motion stage, with direction to respondent No. 2 to consider the re-allotment of land in favour of the petitioners preferably from land bank available for the development of Industrial area in Zone-A of Jammu or Samba, in the High Level Land Allotment Committee to be held on 14.08.2026. 8.
