HON’BLE MISS JUSTICE SAVITRI RATHO
ORDER 07.04.2026
Order No.

(Through hybrid Mode)
1. This CRLMP has been filed for a direction to the Opposite Parties to register the FIR, make proper investigation and take immediate action against the miscreants in accordance with law.
2. Ms. A. Mohanty, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the owner of the tractor which has not been registered and on 19.08.2025, the tractor was used for harvesting and since it developed some mechanical problem it was left at the spot by the driver, next morning the tractor could not be located, for which on 20.08.2025, the petitioner submitted an FIR before the Opposite Party No.3 who refused to accept the FIR and almost four months thereafter, a reminder was issued to the Superintendent of Police, Bhadrak and grievance of the petitioner was also forwarded to the IGP, Police Line, Baleswar, Lok Seba Bhawan, Bhubaneswar, Khordha, and DGP, Buxi Bazar, Cuttack on 04.12.2025.
3. After hearing learned counsel for the petitioner and perusing p. 2 the CRLMP, I find that there is no document on record that any grievance petition was addressed to the SP, Bhadrak. That apart, there is no document to show that the petitioner is the registered owner of the vehicle in question.
4. Hence, I am not inclined to exercise discretion under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue any direction to the Opposite Parties.
5. The CRLMP is accordingly dismissed.
