Mr. B. Barman, learned counsel for the respondent Nos. 4 and 5 submits that the Governing Body of Nirmal Haloi College, Patacharkuchi has resolved to grant the petitioner the retirement benefits as admissible to him in law. [2.] It is therefore now for the petitioner to give his signature on the relevant documents as a token of acceptance and thereafter the documents will be sent to the respondent authorities concerned for further process. [3.] Mr. A. C. Sarma, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no difficulty in giving the signature which he will give eventually. He submits that the respondent authorities may be directed to take necessary process to enable the petitioner get retirement benefits which includes GPF, GIS and Leave Encashment within a time frame. [4.] Mr. S.K. Medhi, learned Standing Counsel, Accountant General Assam submits that once the matter reaches the establishment of the Accountant General, necessary steps will be taken as per requirement. [5.] Considering the above position, the writ petition is disposed of by directing
Page No.# 3/3 the college authorities to send the relevant documents to the Office of the Director of Higher Education (respondent No.2) as soon as the petitioner subscribe his signature on the relevant documents. The Director of Higher Education Department shall take necessary follow up action as may be required in law thereafter without delay. [6.] With the above observations and directions the writ petition stands
