The present application has been preferred apprehending arrest in connection with P.T.N.No.1644 of 2026 arising out of Pradhannagar Police Station Case No.332 of 2026 dated 14.05.2026 under Section 85/117(2)/74/75/79/89/351(2)(3)/61(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita pending before the Learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, at Siliguri. 2. CRAN 1 of 2026 is a joint application for compromise stating that the dispute under Section 498A IPC being a matrimonial 2 dispute between the parties, has now been amicably settled and they are residing together. 3. The de facto complainant who is also being represented in Court, admits that the issue in the present case has been amicably settled. 4. Accordingly, on hearing the parties and considering the nature of offences alleged and the amicable settlement, prayer for anticipatory bail is allowed. 5. Accordingly, in the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.5,000/- each with two sureties of Rs.2,500/- each, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also be subject to further conditions that the petitioners shall cooperate with the investigation and shall not threaten or intimidate witnesses. The petitioners shall meet the I.O. as and when required till submission of report in final form. 6. The prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is allowed. 7. CRM(A) 354 of 2026 along with CRAN 1 of 2026 is thus, disposed of. 8. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with requisite formalities. (Shampa Dutt (Paul), J.)
