This application under Section 528 of BNSS of 2023 has been filed praying for quashing of the Naharlagun Police Station Case 0134/25 registered under Section 318(4) against the accused person. 3. At the outset, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that Section 318(4) of the BNS is a compoundable offence and therefore, the present application is not maintainable. 4. This Court has taken note of the submission and accordingly, is of the view that this application is not maintainable as Section 318(4) BNS is a compoundable offence.
