Issuance of notice to the respondents 5 and 6 is dispensed with. 3. The petitioner is a resident of Thanakkankulam Village. He alleges that in the petition mentioned survey numbers, there are encroachments. He wants the same to be removed. 2/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 3 W.P.(MD)NO.7364 OF 2026 4. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate submitted that all the three survey numbers have been classified as Odai. The third respondent is the authority competent to take action. 5. We direct the third respondent to issue notices to all the interested parties under the relevant provisions of the statute and after holding enquiry, take action for removal of the encroachments. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of five months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
