Instant petition under Section 482 BNSS is filed seeking pre-arrest bail of the petitioner in connection with Bhanjpur P.S. Case No.31 of 2025 corresponding to C.T. Case No.15 of 2025 pending in the file of learned Sessions Judge- cum-Special Judge, Mayurbhanj, Baripada on the grounds stated. 3. Perused the FIR as at Annexure-1. Recorded the submission of Mr. Sharma, learned Senior Advocate appearing for the petitioner and State. It is claimed that other accused persons are on bail by the orders of the learned Special Court, whereas, the petitioner is on a much better footing and hence, deserves release. Recorded the objection of the State. It is pleaded on record regarding the release of the co-accused persons in the meantime. In view of the submissions as above and objection of Mr. Lenka, learned ASC for the State, this Court is inclined to direct consideration of bail plea of the petitioner in the light of the decision in Pramod Kumar Ray and others Vrs. State of Odisha (2017) 67 OCR 309. 4. Accordingly, it is ordered. 5. In the result, the ABLAPL is disposed of with the direction as aforesaid. In the event, the petitioner surrenders before the court of learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Mayurbhanj, Baripada in connection with C.T. Case No.15 of 2025 corresponding to Bhanjpur P.S. Case No.31 of 2025 within a fortnight from today and moves application for bail, it shall be considered and disposed of as per the decision in Pramod Kumar Ray (supra) with a proper notice to the informant and till his surrender, it is directed that he shall not be arrested by the local police. 6.
