The present application has been preferred by the petitioners herein apprehending of arrest in connection with Tufanganj Police Station Case Number 203 of 2026 dated 18.04.2026 under Sections 126(2)/115(2)/117(2)/118(2)/74/351(2)/3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, and corresponding to G.R.Case No.340 of 2026, pending before the Learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Tufanganj. 2. On hearing the Learned Counsel for the petitioner and the Learned Counsel for the State who has placed the case diary, it appears that prima facie there is a property dispute between the 2 parties and on the place and date of the incident, an altercation took place between the parties, in respect of the said land dispute. 3. On perusal of the injury report in the case diary and considering the said medical papers, the petitioners are granted anticipatory bail. 4. Accordingly, in the event of arrest, the petitioners shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.5,000/- each with two sureties of Rs.2,500/- each, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also be subject to further conditions that the petitioners shall cooperate with the investigation and shall not threaten or intimidate witnesses. The petitioners shall meet the I.O. as and when required till submission of report in final form. 5. The prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is allowed. 6. CRM(A) 357 of 2026 is thus, disposed of. 7. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with requisite formalities.
