Ranjan Sharma, Judge Petitioners have invoked contempt jurisdiction of this Court, alleging non-compliance of the judgment dated 11.05.2026 [Annexure C-1], passed by this Court, in CWP No.14408 of 2025, titled as Hem Lata and Others Versus State of Himachal Pradesh and Anr. alongwith connected Writ Petitions, which included the Writ Petition filed by the petitioners i.e. CWP No.16224 of 2025, titled as Ravi Kumar and Others Versus State of Himachal Pradesh and 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 2026:HHC:40563 Ors., whereby, the Respondents were directed to decide the matter afresh and to pass a speaking and reasoned order, after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner(s), if so desired. 2. Notice in the instant proceedings were issued on 06.08.2026 and thereafter the matter was listed for filing Compliance Affidavit on couple of occasions. 3. Upon listing of the case today, Learned State Counsel has filed Compliance Affidavit dated 22.09.2026 [Taken on Record] of Director School Education, Himachal Pradesh, enclosing a copy of speaking order dated 21.09.2026 [Annexure R-2/1], rejecting the claim of the petitioners. 4. Faced with the above situation, Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioners, on Instructions of Learned Original Counsel, fairly submits that the instant proceedings may be closed, with liberty to the petitioner(s) to avail appropriate remedy, for assailing rejection orders, in accordance with law, hereinafter [Statement Taken on Record]. 5. Considering the above situation, the 3 2026:HHC:40563 instant proceedings are closed, with liberty to the petitioner(s), in aforesaid terms. Notice of Contempt is discharged. 6.
