By the present writ petition, the petitioner seeks order requesting the Hon’ble Presiding Officer of the SIR Appellate Tribunal for District of Coochbehar to dispose of the Appeal of the petitioner being No.APS2501G040426308147 dated 4th April, 2026, expeditiously. 3. The petitioner contends that his name has been deleted from the voters’ list. 2 Challenging the same, the petitioner has already filed an appeal before the SIR Appellate Tribunal being No.APS2501G040426308147 dated 4th April, 2026, which is pending disposal. The petitioner seeks for expeditious hearing of the said appeal. 4. Mr. Biprojyoti Bhowmik, learned Advocate representing the petitioner seeks that a request be made to the SIR Appellate Tribunal to take up the appeal of the petitioner out of turn. 5. Learned Advocates representing the ECI as well as Union of India concede to such submission. 6. In view of the above, the writ petition being WPA 798 of 2026 is disposed of requesting the SIR Appellate Tribunal to dispose of the appeal of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible. 7. Since no affidavits have been called for, the allegation made in the writ petition is deemed to be not admitted. 8. Interim order, if any, stands vacated. 9. All connected applications, if any, stand disposed of. 10. There shall be no order as to costs. 3 11.
